Sweet peppers, or as they are also called bell peppers, are a great vegetable that is good for fresh salads as well as for hot dishes and canning. Therefore, dacha owners always try to harvest a large crop from the plant. To ensure a large crop of pepper, in addition to proper care, it needs proper and timely fertilization.

OBOZREVATEL asked what is good to fertilize sweet peppers in June. This month the plant forms the ovary and begins to ripen, so it really needs fertilizer to have the resource for the full development of future fruit.

Experienced gardeners know that peppers grow best in neutral soils enriched with organic fertilizers. They, among other things, make the soil more permeable to air and water, which is very important for this plant. But you can not do without mineral fertilizers here, too. Peppers need to be fertilized with minerals from 2 to 4 times a season, depending on the condition of the soil and the bushes themselves.

The key is to fertilize exactly at the moment when the peppers have blossomed and started to set. To prepare the appropriate fertilizer, you need to take:

• ammonium nitrate - 10 grams;

• superphosphate - 25 grams;
• potassium sulfate - 25 grams;
• water - 10 liters.

All components are added to water and mixed thoroughly. The resulting liquid is best applied by the root method, because such a concentration of minerals can leave burns on the leaves. The medium is poured under pepper bushes, and after that clean water is added on top, so that the fertilizer penetrated deeper into the ground.

The next fertilization can be carried out after two weeks. But it is important to consider the condition of the plant. If the pepper looks good and successfully develops, you should not add more fertilizer - this can seriously damage it.

When the pepper begins to bear fruit, it will be good to feed it with a fertilizer based on wood ash. To prepare it, you need to take:

• dry wood ash - 2 cups;
• ammonium nitrate - 10 grams;
• water - 10 liters.

All the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and water the plant with the resulting remedy. In this case, the peppers will get enough food for their fruits to grow fleshy and juicy.
