Carscoops reports about an interesting case from the Chinese Shanghai. An elderly driver of a red electric tricycle drove too close to a yellow Ferrari F8 Spider and caught its rearview mirror while the car was standing at a red traffic signal. This was reported by eyewitnesses.

The owner of the electric tricycle tried to flee the scene of the accident. However, the police detained the offender already at the next intersection.

Law enforcers insisted on the fault of the elderly driver and demanded that he take responsibility. At the same time, the owner of the supercar decided that he was ready to accept any amount of compensation for the damage.

In the end, the offender paid only 190 yuan or 26 dollars for the damage. The usual repair is estimated more than 100 times more expensive. It would have cost 2743 dollars.
