As a rule of thumb, the stronger the cleaning method, the more likely it is to get rid of mold. The most effective recipe for tile is a solution of vinegar and baking soda. The chemical reaction will neutralize the most difficult dirt, you will just have to wipe the tile with a sponge.

How to clean tiles and seams

  1. Spray lukewarm water along the lines of the tile seams.
  2. In a small container, mix white vinegar and baking soda in a 1:1 ratio. The first time you mix it, a fizzy foam will appear. Give the solution a few minutes to infuse, and once the reaction is over, start rubbing it into the tile seams with a toothbrush.
  3. Rinse the tiles and seams with running water.

At the end, you can use your favorite cleaner to get rid of the vinegar smell.
