Master of Sports in powerlifting and record holder of Ukraine Yaroslav Khybovsky was killed in action for his country. Having joined the military under contract, Yaroslav was the chief sergeant of the 2nd mechanised platoon of a mechanised company.

On November 11, 23-year-old WAKO kickboxing champion Vitaliy Stiba, a resident of Rivne, died on the outskirts of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast. Vitaliy was born and raised in Rivne, studied at school 25 and later at a technical college. He was a keen martial artist.
