In the evening of March 30, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with kamikaze drones, according to monitoring publics, they were launched from the north and south. Ukrainians were urged to stay in safe places. Soon it became known that there were arrivals in Kharkiv.

KOVA reported the attack by enemy UAVs. At the same time, Kharkiv confirmed at least six hits with missiles from SAM S-300 and attacks on the region by kamikaze drones, and there are wounded (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

"Residents of the Kyiv region! The threat of a drone attack! Air defence forces are on the alert. Go to shelters or other safe places and stay there until the call for fire," the message read.

The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, confirmed this information, urging citizens to take cover.

"Russian terrorists are shelling Kharkiv from the Belgorod region," he wrote.

Later, the Poltava region also warned of a missile threat. In particular, the mayor of Kremenchuk, Vitaliy Maletskiy, said there was an increased danger and urged not to ignore the air raid alert.

"Do not ignore the air raid alert! Stay in shelters! There is an increased danger!" he said.

At the same time, the network wrote that air defence systems were also activated in the Chernihiv region. As of 23:22, KOVA added that the danger had not passed, but the alert was still in effect.

"Take care of yourselves and your loved ones - do not leave the shelters!" the Kyiv authorities called.

In the first half-hour of March 31, it became known that the air defence system had been activated in Dnipro. Local monitoring publics urged residents not to worry, saying that "our air defence system is good".

Kharkiv MP Dmytro Mykysha also said that air defence was working in the region.

"Our air defence is working. It is very loud over Merefa! Please stay in safe places," he said.

Local publicists noted that one enemy shell was shot down.

Later, the Kharkiv prosecutor's office reported that there were arrivals in the city. The enemy fired at least six S-300 missiles, which, unfortunately, cannot be intercepted by Ukrainian air defence.

"At 22:10, Russian occupation forces shelled our city. It was carried out, in particular, in the Novobavarsky district. At least six S-300 missiles hit infrastructure facilities and private houses. As of 12 am, there is no information on injuries or deaths. Prosecutors, investigators, employees of the State Emergency Service and public utilities are working at the scene. Facts of war crimes are being recorded," the prosecutor's office said.

On the morning of March 31, the head of the Kharkiv regional military-civilian administration, Oleh Synehubov, spoke about the consequences of the enemy attack. According to him, Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv came under Russian fire at night. The enemy fired nine missiles at the city.

"In Kharkiv, a civilian infrastructure facility and private residential buildings were damaged. Some of the missiles hit the ground and exploded in the air. As a result of the rocket attack, 3 people were slightly injured. They did not need hospitalisation," emphasised Synehubov.

He added that the Russians also attacked the region with Iranian kamikaze drones.

"Last night the enemy also attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Izium district with a Shahed UAV. Two civilians aged 44 and 66 were wounded and hospitalised," said Colonel Synehubov.

The aggressor fired at the border settlements in the Kupyansk, Chuhuiv and Vovchansk districts over the last day. Kozacha Lopan, Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Strilecha and a number of other settlements were under fire. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of March 30-31, Russia launched another air attack on Ukraine, using Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian air defence forces neutralised nine of the 10 drones.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on the night of March 27-28, Russia attacked the territory of Ukraine with attack drones. Air defences were triggered in the Kyiv region: the wreckage of the downed Shahed fell on a shop, causing a fire. A major fire also occurred in Dnipro, where one of the UAVs hit a private enterprise.
