Most powerful Android smartphones of 2023 are announced
The smartphone of the Chinese brand Vivo turned out to be the most powerful Android gadget available on the global market. This is also likely to be the first time that the performance of a flagship Android phone has come close to that of the iPhone.
This is according to a report by AnTuTu, a service that specialises in testing software for smartphones and other devices.
According to the service, the most powerful "android" was Vivo X90 Pro+, which received 1.29 million points in the test.
The company noted that the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor installed in the smartphone is very close to that of the A16 processor used in the flagship Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
"Equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Vivo X90 Pro+ has an average rating of 1.29 million, making it the most powerful Android smartphone on the international market today. In addition, the main camera of the Vivo X90 Pro+ is equipped with a 1-inch Sony IMX98 sensor," AnTuTu noted.
The second most powerful smartphone was the iQOO 11 Pro, which is a sub-brand of Vivo. It scored 1.27 million points.
iQOO is positioned as a high-end gaming phone. It is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2+LPDDR5X+UFS 4.0.
ROG Phone 6 rounds out the top three with an average score of 1.1 million points. Like other phones from third to tenth place, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
