Luscious breakfast pancakes: how much baking soda should be added to the batter

Homemade pancakes are the simplest and easiest breakfast dish to make, and they can also be a great alternative to bread. They can be made with milk, kefir, yogurt, sour cream, or even water.
Culinarian Victoria shared a recipe on Instagram for puffy pancakes that are made with kefir and will be very puffy.
Tip: To make the pancakes fluffy - add 1 tsp. of baking soda to the batter!
Ingredients:
- kefir - 500 ml
- sugar - 60 grams
- flour - 350-380 grams
- eggs - 1 pc.
- baking soda - 1 tsp.
- salt - pinch
- oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the kefir with the egg, sugar and salt. Add the flour and baking soda and mix until smooth and without lumps.
2. Leave the ready dough for 10 minutes to make the baking soda "work", and do not stir again.

3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp of oil and spoon the batter onto the heated frying pan.
4. Place the finished pancakes on a paper towel to remove any excess fat.

Serve the pancakes hot with sour cream, jam, condensed milk.
