Universal fertilizer based on boric acid is very easy to prepare.

The necessary ingredients:

• 500 ml of hot water;
• 10 grams of borax.

Step 1. Pour 500 ml of hot water into a container and add 10 g of boron.

Step 2. The solution should be thoroughly mixed until the boron is completely dissolved. Wait a little while for the water to cool - and the fertilizer is ready.

Important caveat: The solution must be diluted with water before watering. In its pure form, it is too concentrated and can damage the plants. For every 100 ml of fertilizer, add 10 liters of warm water. After that, pour it into a sprayer and spray the petunias.

There is another effective fertilizer that will help prolong flowering time and cure diseases.

Signs of petunia disease are:

• low number of buds;
• flower buds falling off, their weakness;
• sickly appearance of flowers, pale color, dark spots on the leaves.

In this case, experts recommend preparing a remedy based on citric acid.

Fill a container with a liter of water and add 10 drops of lemon juice. When watering, you should calculate that for each square meter of soil you need to take 50 ml of the solution.

The juice can be replaced with citric acid at a rate of 20 g per 1 liter of water.
