How to quickly remove grease and soot from a frying pan: the English way

Yulia PoteriankoLife
To clean a dirty frying pan, you need a regular tea bag

When washing dishes, we often unconsciously leave a frying pan or large pot until the last minute as it is difficult to wash bulky dishes heavily stained with grease and soot and you don't want to. However, English housewives have come up with a life hack to get rid of grease in the pan without any extra effort and aggressive household chemicals.

OBOZREVATEL asked about the intricacies of this method. To use it, all you need is a tea bag.

To effectively clean the dishes, you need to pour hot water over them and immerse a tea bag in it. It doesn't have to be fresh, even brewed tea will do. In this case, it is better to take several such bags.

The tea should stay in the pan for at least 15 minutes. However, do not leave it in for more than 40 minutes as this will cause a coating that will have to be scrubbed off to form.

After steeping, simply drain the tea from the pan. Under the influence of tannins from its composition, the fat and carbon deposits should easily come off the walls of the dishes. This method is especially suitable for non-stick cookware that requires delicate cleaning. At the end of the wash, all you have to do is wipe the pan with a sponge to remove any remaining grease and rinse it under running water.
