Lifehack with boiling

Our mothers and grandmothers often boiled clothes and dirty things. However, you should be careful, because boiling is only suitable for white or light-colored towels. Colored fabrics will quickly fade.

So, if you decide to use the tried-and-true method for years, take a large pot and fill it with water by about two-thirds. Pour laundry detergent, pour bleach or any stain remover. The proportions are as follows: two tablespoons of means will be enough for 1 liter of water.

Turn on medium heat or medium heat mode of an electric stove. Put the towels and wait for the water to boil. Boiling should be done on low heat. The time varies depending on the type of cloth and dirtiness. It can be from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Then you should rinse the towels in warm water.

Vinegar lifehack

This is a very simple lifehack for those who don't want to wash dirty towels by hand. In the washing machine in the conditioner compartment, add a little 9% vinegar. Half a cup will be enough.

Vinegar will perfectly cope with outdated stains and grease. Do not forget to add powder, because vinegar has a specific odor. After washing with vinegar, towels should be hung out to dry in the open air.

Lifehack with bleach

Naturally, this option is suitable for off-white fabrics. Choose an oxygen-containing bleach.

First soak the towels in cold water and only then throw them into the washing machine. Add 175 ml of bleach. If you use laundry detergent too, pour it in first and then use the separator.

The towels will undergo total disinfection and will not have an unpleasant odor.
