Vinegar and baking soda can be used to clean off food and grease residue on a gas stove. These two methods will be useful for those who want to do without chemicals.
Experts from the Рorady.interia publication shared their life hacks on how to easily and safely clean gas burners and hobs. They also said that this will help avoid scratches and damage.
If you clean regularly, you don't need to stock up on specialized products - warm water and dishwashing liquid are enough. If you don't have any detergents at home or are trying to minimize their use, you can prepare a cleaning mixture yourself.
The first method
You will need: vinegar and water mixed in a 3:1 ratio. Pour them into a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off the stove and moisten the dirty parts of the stove with the solution. Use a brush or a foil ball to remove well-baked-on dirt.
You can also mix vinegar and water in equal proportions. Pour into a spray bottle and spray on the problem surface, leaving it on for at least a quarter of an hour. Then wipe it off with a soft sponge. If the dirt does not come off, repeat the entire procedure, then polish dry with a paper towel.
The second method
Make a paste of warm water and baking soda. It should have a thick consistency. Leave it on the dirty surface for a few minutes, then wipe it off with a sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly with water.
