How to clean stove handles: the most effective cheapest ways

There are several simple and effective life hacks that will help you quickly clean the hob handles. Removable handles can be placed in a soda solution - the dirt will come off by itself, you just need to rinse them under running water.
Fixed handles are a little more complicated. OBOZREVATEL has collected the most effective ways to clean the stove to a shine.
How to make a soda solution
- Pour 0.5 litres of water into a small container and add 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda.
- Leave the removable handles in the solution for 15-20 minutes.
- If the soaking does not remove all the dirt, clean the handles with an old toothbrush.
Laundry soap
Laundry soap is used not only for washing - the lye contained in it helps to remove dirt from various surfaces.
Use a fine grater to grate ¼ bar of soap, add ½ cup of hot water and stir until it dissolves. Dampen a sponge with the solution and wipe dirty handles.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide
Mix 2 teaspoons of baking soda and a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to a paste. Use a toothbrush to apply the mixture to the handles, leave it on for 5-7 minutes and wipe off the residue with a damp cloth.
Salicylic acid
Acidic products are effective on greasy and old stains. Pour a small amount of salicylic acid solution onto a cotton pad and wipe the hob handles. Remove any residue with a damp sponge.
Wet wipes
If the handles are free of grease, you can use ordinary alcohol-based wet wipes. Simply wipe the handles and the hob all around.
Glycerin and alcohol
Required ingredients:
- ordinary alcohol;
- ammonia;
- glycerin.
Mix the ingredients in equal proportions (for example, one teaspoon each) until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Use an old toothbrush to rub the hob handles and leave for 5-10 minutes. This life hack will help you to cope with stubborn dirt and grease. Finally, wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth.
Lemon juice
Citric acid can also dissolve fats. Simply cut a lemon in half, squeeze a little juice into a container, dip a toothbrush in it and wipe the surfaces. Baking soda combined with citric acid will help remove grease.
By the way, if the dirt has already dried, vinegar, baking soda, citric acid, and mustard powder will help clean the hob. You can also use dishwasher tablets.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL told you that the burners on the stove can be cleaned with baking soda and soap. Soda, liquid soap and water should be mixed in equal proportions and the solution should be applied to the burners for 20 minutes. The product will work very effectively - no trace of dirt will remain.
