A simple trick with baking soda will save old pillows from yellow stains, making them look like new

Shaving foam can help remove stains from pillows without resorting to dry cleaning

It can be unpleasant to remove a pillowcase and see a yellowed pillow with stains underneath, but this is quite normal. They acquire this color due to constant contact with the body and moisture from the air. Fortunately, it is possible to get rid of these stains.

The Express has compiled tips from cleanliness enthusiasts that they share on social media. It turns out that one simple cosmetic product can solve the problem.

Of course, the number one tip is to machine wash and then dry the pillows in a dryer because they take too long to naturally dry. In this case, it is better to use bio powder and a small amount of bleach. Additionally, put laundry balls in the drum to fluff up the pillow filling in the process. It is better to add similar balls during drying. If you can't use a dryer, air-dry the feather pillow, turning it over as often as possible.

The second-place recommendation suggests using shaving foam. Cleanliness enthusiasts claim that it perfectly removes yellow stains from pillows. Take a small amount of the product and rub it into the area that needs cleaning. Let the foam sit for about an hour, after which the treated area should be wiped with a damp cloth.

However, if the situation cannot be salvaged, some commentators advise against throwing the pillow away. A much better solution would be to donate it to an animal shelter, where such items are constantly needed to care for the animals.
