The competition starts on March 9

On Thursday, March 9, the 8th stage of the Biathlon World Cup ended in Estersund, Sweden. The tour programme will include three disciplines: individual race, relay and mass start.

Estersund is the fifth largest city in Sweden and is located on the shores of Lake Storsjon. The Swedish National Biathlon Arena is located on a hillside with the Arcturus Tower. Just 2 km from the biathlon arena is the city centre with small shops, restaurants and traditional Swedish bakeries.

 

This season, the Ukrainian national team has a quota of 5 athletes at each stage in individual races in the men's and women's events. A total of six biathletes can be entered per stage.

All races are broadcast live on the Suspilne Sport website and on regional Suspilne TV channels (Suspilne Kyiv, Suspilne Poltava, etc.).

In addition, the official IBU website broadcasts the race for free.

You can also watch the competition on Eurosport 1. The channel is available on the Megogo media service with a "Maximum" subscription.
