Without mayonnaise: a light salad of Chinese cabbage for every day
Chinese cabbage is an ideal product for making light salads, and it can also be used to make cabbage rolls, snacks, and soups. It is worth noting that the vegetable goes very well with almost all vegetables, herbs, meat, seafood, fish, and cheeses.
Cook Iryna shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious, light Chinese cabbage salad with tomatoes, tuna, eggs, and yogurt dressing.
Ingredients:
- Chinese cabbage – 2-3 tbsp.
- cucumber – 1 pc.
- cherry tomatoes – 4-5 pcs.
- corn – 2-3 tbsp.
- onion – 1/2 pc.
- boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
- Tuna – 1 can
Dressing:
- yogurt – 3 tbsp.
- lemon juice – 1 tsp.
- olive oil – 1-2 tbsp.
- mustard in grains – 2 tsp.
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Coarsely chop the Chinese cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, and boiled eggs.
2. Add the chopped red onion, corn, and canned tuna.
3. For the dressing: mix yogurt, grain mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss.
