The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and healthy lentil soup made with vegetables and tomato paste.
Ingredients:
- red lentils - 1.5 tbsp.
- potatoes - 2 pcs.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1/2 clove.
- water (step the thickness to your taste)
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp.
- butter, olive oil
- salt, spices, paprika, lemon juice
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the lentils and cover them with water for 15/20 minutes, rinse again until the water becomes clear.
2. Fry onion and garlic in butter and olive oil. Add carrots, and after 3 minutes add potatoes and a spoonful of tomato paste. Fry for a few minutes, add the lentils, cover with water, and cook until the vegetables are tender for 15/20 minutes.
3. Blend the soup in a blender, add spices, and bring to a boil over low heat, adding more water if necessary.
Tip: You can melt a spoonful of butter, add ground paprika, add the herbs to the soup bowl, and add a few drops of lemon juice when serving!
