Experts say that you should eat fish at least 2-3 times a week. It can be a variety of fish and fish dishes, ranging from herring, trout, sea bass, to tuna, hake, and pollock.
Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for delicious pollock meatballs with spicy sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- pollock fillet - 400 g
- hard cheese - 50 g
- fried onions - 75 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
For the sauce:
- onion - 100 g
- garlic - 2 cloves.
- oil - 30 g
- tomatoes in its juice - 200 g
- salt, pepper and dried herbs - to taste
- cream - 40 g
- greens for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare the fillet, squeeze out the water, and pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Chop the onion and fry until golden brown.
3. Pass the fish and onion through a meat grinder 2 times. Add the egg, salt, and grated cheese and mix the minced meat well.
4. Grease your hands with vegetable oil and form the meatballs.
5. Sauce: chop the onion with the garlic and fry. Add the tomatoes, salt, herbs, cream, and water, mix, put the meatballs in the sauce, and simmer for 6 minutes under the lid. Turn over and simmer for another 6 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs and you're ready to eat!
