What to cook for Nut Feast of the Saviour 2023: recipe for a delicious coffee-flavored walnut muffin

If you want to prepare delicious baked goods for tea very quickly, the best option will be cupcakes. You need to take quality flour for the dough. You can also add berries, nuts, chocolate, cocoa and spices for a bright flavour.
Orthodox believers will celebrate the Nut Feast of the Savior on August 29 in Ukraine. It is customary to consecrate nuts, apples, honey, nuts and bread, as well as home baking in church.
Cook Yulia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious walnut muffin with coffee, which turns out very puffy and successful.
Ingredients:
- flour - 360 g
- butter - 150 g
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- leavening agent - 2 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 60 ml
- coffee - 220 ml
- walnuts - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat soft butter at room temperature for three minutes. Add powdered sugar and whisk for another 5 minutes. Add vegetable oil and mix. After that, add eggs in three steps and mix well with the butter base.
2. Mix the sifted flour, baking powder and nuts with a whisk. Brew the coffee in advance and allow it to cool to room temperature. Add the dry ingredients and coffee to the dough base in several alternating batches.
3. Place the ready batter in a mould, which should be covered with parchment. Bake the cupcake for 50-55 minutes at 180 C.
Check the readiness of the cupcake with a skewer. Let it cool for 15 minutes in the mould, take it out, let it cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
