What cheese is best for syrnyky so that they don't fall apart: we share our tips

Homemade syrnyky often fall apart and burn during cooking. To avoid this, you need to prepare the base correctly, namely, choose fatty and dry cottage cheese, and do not add more than 2 eggs and no more than 2 tbsp of sugar.

On Instagram, the cook shared her advice and recipe for delicious and, most importantly, successful syrnyky that won't fall apart.

Tip: cottage cheese for syrnyky should be at least 9%, so that they keep their shape well and do not fall apart!

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese 9% - 600 g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp. l. with a slide
  • Orange zest - 1/2 pc.
  • Orange juice - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Flour - 3-4 tbsp.
  • Flour for molding
  • Coconut oil

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the cottage cheese, add eggs, sugar, flour, orange zest and juice.

2. Form the syrnyky with your hands.

3. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

4. Put on a dish and serve with sour cream, jam, condensed milk.
