What are bramboraky and how to make this hearty dish with beer

Bramboraky is a traditional appetizer for most Slavic peoples and Hungarians. This dish used to be called cmunda in the Czech Republic. Bramboraky are made from grated potatoes with onions, fried bacon or lard, flour, eggs, garlic, and spices. Cooks also add beer or milk to the base.
Culinary expert Oleh shared a recipe for a delicious dish on Instagram called bramboraky, which are cooked in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
- flour - 80 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- potatoes - 80 g
- beer
- oil for frying
- bacon or smoked lard
- salt
- black pepper
Sauce:
- garlic - 2-3 cloves.
- sour cream
- herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry until golden brown.
2. Grate the potatoes and onions and squeeze out the excess liquid. Add an egg, fried bacon, beer, flour, spices, and mix.
3. Fry on both sides until golden brown for 2 minutes.
Serve with sour cream, herbs, and garlic sauce.
