Waffle cake in a new way: what to add to this simple dessert for an original flavor

Everyone loves waffle cake and knows how to make it. It is prepared in the classic version with condensed milk. However, for a brighter taste, you can add nuts, Dorblu cheese, cream cheese, and jam.

The cook shared a recipe for a delicious waffle cake with nuts, cream cheese, and condensed milk on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • waffle cakes - 1 package
  • condensed milk (white) - 300 g
  • cream cheese - 150 g
  • almonds - 50 g
  • white chocolate - 200 g
  • coconut flakes - 50 g

Method of preparation:

1. Melt chocolate in a water bath. Fry almonds and beat them with a blender until they are crumbly. You can also take almond flakes. Fry coconut flakes a little too.

2. For the cream, mix cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. You can replace the cream cheese with butter.

3. Assemble the cake. Spread a little cream on the plate where you will assemble the cake to make the waffle stick and make it easier to grease. Pour half of the melted chocolate on the first layer, spread it and cover with the second layer. Put some of the condensed milk cream on the second layer, spread it and sprinkle with coconut. Cover, top with the cream and almonds again, sprinkle with coconut, cover, pour over the chocolate and cover. Let it soak in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Then decorate as desired.
