Beetroot is a very valuable and healthy vegetable that is best eaten raw and baked. It makes very light salads, and can also be used to make spreads and soups.
Cook Olena shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, very light and healthy beet appetizer that is very quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- beets (raw) - 2-3 pcs.
- garlic - 4-5 cloves.
- Provencal herbs/oregano - 1-2 tsp.
- bread - a few slices
- cream cheese - 1-2 tbsp.
- greens - to taste
- salt - to taste
- oil - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the beets and bake in the oven in foil at 180 C for 45 minutes.
2. Peel and slice the beets, chop the garlic.
3. Spread the bread with cream cheese, put the beetroot slices on top, sprinkle with herbs or Provence herbs and eat.
