Ukrainian kruchenyky with mushrooms: a recipe for a hearty dish for every day
Chicken fillets can be baked, added to soups, cooked into cutlets and chops, and they also make soft kruchenyky. They can be prepared with cheese, mushroom, and vegetable fillings.
- chicken fillet - 3 pcs.
- mushrooms - 300 g
- carrot - 1 pc
- onion - 1 pc
- sour cream - 1-2 tbsp
- flour - 1 tbsp
- oil - 50 g
- spices - to taste
- garlic - 1 clove.
Method of preparation:
1. Fry onions and mushrooms, add oil and grated carrots, simmer for another 5 minutes.
2. Cut the fillet into 2 pieces, pound off and sprinkle with spices. Put the filling and roll up the rolls.
3. Fry them in a frying pan on both sides until golden brown, remove and pour boiled water into the pan, add sour cream, garlic and flour, spices to taste. Bring to a boil, stirring with a whisk.
4. Put the fried dumplings in a baking dish, pour over the sauce and cook for 30 minutes in the oven at 190°C.
