The easiest recipe for lazy Medovyk honey cake

Delicious and flavorful Medovyk honey cake can be prepared in different ways and with different creams. However, the flavor and texture of the dessert depend on the batter.
Cook Yulia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious Medovyk with sour cream, which will be very soft and successful.
Ingredients:
- eggs - 6 pcs.
- sugar - 200 g
- honey - 250 g
- flour - 375 g
- butter - 40 g
- baking soda (unsweetened) - 2 tsp.
- nuts - 1 tbsp.
Cream:
- sour cream - 0,5 l
- sugar - 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. Melt butter and leave to cool. If honey is thick, melt it in a water bath. Beat the eggs with sugar until white. Add butter, honey, flour and baking soda and mix. The batter should be homogeneous like thick sour cream.
2. Divide it into 3 parts. Cover a baking tray with parchment, spread 1/3 of the batter, flatten, sprinkle 1/3 of the chopped nuts on top and bake at 180 C until cooked, which is about 10-15 minutes (depending on your oven). Bake the rest of the sponge cakes in the same way.
3. Beat the sour cream and sugar at a low speed for the cream. Divide the cream into two parts and spread over the cakes, assembling the cake. Put the finished cake in the refrigerator.
