Tastier than with sprats: budget sandwiches in 10 minutes for the holiday table and every day

Homemade sandwiches can be prepared with different products, in summer it is better not to use salted and smoked fish, you can replace it with canned fish, boiled eggs, crab sticks.
Cook Julia shared a recipe for delicious sardine and boiled egg sandwiches on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- sardines - 1 b.
- shallots - 1/2 pc.
- eggs (boiled) - 3 pcs.
- cheese - 50 g
- mayonnaise - 1 tbsp.
- spices: salt, pepper - to taste
- baguette/baton
- garlic - 1 tooth.
- Lettuce leaves, cucumber - for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Drain the sardines in a separate container, do not pour out the liquid. Mash the sardines with a fork until smooth.
2. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Add the finely grated egg white and cheese to the fish. Add finely chopped onion, add spices and mayonnaise, mix until homogeneous. If necessary, for the desired thickness, add a few spoonfuls of liquid from the sardine.
3. Cut the baguette into slices. Fry in a little oil on both sides until golden. Rub each toasted slice lightly with a clove of garlic on one side.
4. Place lettuce leaves on a plate. Spread the fish mixture on the garlic rubbed surface of the slice, place on the plate with salad, decorate with cucumber slices and sprinkle with grated egg yolk.
