Tastier than pilaf: fried bulgur with oil and spices in 10 minutes
Bulgur is not only delicious but also a very healthy and budget-friendly product. Bulgur can be used to make soups, delicious porridges, pilaf, and stuffing for stuffed peppers. It can also be added to salads.
Cook Polina shared a recipe for delicious fried bulgur on Instagram, which takes only 10 minutes to cook in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
- bulgur - 100 g
- butter - 20 g
- spices - 1 tbsp
- salt to taste
- boiling water
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse bulgur well and fry in butter for 5 minutes.
2. Add salt and spices, stir, and fry for another 5-7 minutes.
3. Pour boiling water over the cereal. The water should completely cover the cereal. Cook over medium heat until the water has completely evaporated.
It is delicious both hot and cold.
