Tastier than pilaf: baked rice with chicken for a quick dinner
Rice can be the basis for making delicious and satisfying pilaf, as well as soups, milk porridge, and delicate pudding. It's worth noting that pilaf can be cooked not only in a saucepan, but also in a frying pan, sleeve, and can also be baked in the oven.

Ingredients:
- 250 g of rice
- 500 ml of water
- chicken drumsticks
- onions, carrots, garlic
- seasoning for pilaf
- sweet paprika, dried garlic
- salt, pepper
- oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the drumsticks, add salt, pepper, dried garlic, sweet paprika, mix and fry in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
2. Then fry the finely chopped onion and grated carrots in a frying pan.
3. Put the cooked vegetables in a baking dish and add the well-washed rice. Season with salt and pepper, add pilaf seasoning and mix.
4. Then pour in warm water, put the chicken drumsticks, add a few cloves of garlic and cover with foil, bake for 50-60 minutes at 200 C.
5. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
