Spicy homemade ketchup with sour apples, plums and beetroot for the winter: sharing an unusual sauce recipe

Homemade ketchup is an ideal and, most importantly, safe sauce for meat and can also be added to a variety of dishes, such as soup, stuffed cabbage rolls if you like it spicier.
Cook Maria shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious homemade ketchup made with plums, apples and beetroot.
Ingredients:
- tomatoes - 3 kg (the best "cream")
- onion - 0,5 kg
- plums - 0,25 g
- sour apples - 0,5 kg
- beetroot - 1 pc
- sweet pepper - 0,5 kg
- black pepper - 10 pc
- carnation - 2 pc
- allspice - 5 pc
- chilli pepper - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 100 g
- salt - 1,5 tbsp
- cinnamon - 0.5 tsp
- 9% vinegar - 50 ml
Method:
1. Slice the vegetables and fruit. Put into a saucepan, add cloves and pepper. Cook on a medium heat for 1.5 hours (without a lid).
2. Remove from the heat, blend until smooth with a blender.
3. After the mixture has been mashed through a sieve, add the sugar, salt and cinnamon to the mash, and then simmer on a low heat without a lid for about an hour.
4. Pour the ketchup hot into sterilised jars and seal.
