White cabbage is a very healthy and easy-to-cook vegetable that can be used to make salads, hearty cabbage rolls, and snacks, and is also most useful when fermented. It can also be used to make fritters and stewed with vegetables, mushrooms and meat, as well as added to pies and puffs.
Nutritionist Svitlana Fus shared a recipe for delicious cabbage fritters that are very tender on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 1 pc.
- egg - 2 pcs.
- whole wheat flour - 4 tbsp.
- spices and seasonings - to taste
- oil - for frying
- fresh herbs (dill, parsley) - to taste
- sour cream or natural yogurt - for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the cabbage, season it with salt and pepper, toss it with your hands and let it stand for a few minutes. Then add the eggs to the cabbage, mix, and then add 2-3 tablespoons of flour and mix thoroughly again until a homogeneous, thick consistency is obtained.
2. Spoon the mixture over the cabbage and fry on both sides until golden brown.
Serve tender cabbage pancakes with sour cream and fresh herbs!
