Sauerkraut in honey marinade in 48 hours: a recipe for a delicious and healthy appetizer

Ingredients:
- cabbage - 2.5 kg
- salt - 1.5 tbsp
- carrots - 1 pc
- honey - 1.5 tbsp
- water - 1 liter
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop the cabbage, mash it well with your hands, add grated carrots and mix.
2. Marinade: bring water to a boil and add salt, then add honey and leave to cool completely.
3. Put the cabbage in jars, pour the marinade over it, cover and leave for 48 hours. Be sure to stir the cabbage with a wooden spoon.
Store the finished sauerkraut in the refrigerator!
