Quick steamed pilaf: how to cook a hearty dish in a new way

One of the most delicious rice dishes is pilaf. You can cook it with different meats and even without, replacing it with vegetables. For the rice in pilaf to be crumbly, it can be pre-cooked in a steamer or a frying pan.
Cook Yulia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and quick-to-make pilaf with meat and spices.
Ingredients:
- rice - 400 g
- meat - 400 g
- garlic - 3 cloves.
- carrots - 1 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc.
- water - 600 ml
- pilaf spices
Method of preparation:
1. Chop garlic, fry it and add small pieces of meat. Fry for a few minutes. Then add finely chopped onions and grated carrots and fry for a few more minutes. Add spices and salt to taste.
2. When the onion is golden, pour in 150 ml of water and braise the meat until the water has evaporated.
3. Wash the rice and cook it in a steamer. Add it to the meat and vegetables, mix and enjoy.
