Puffy homemade cabbage pies: cooked with yeast dough
Homemade pies can be made with different fillings, but the most important thing is to make a good dough. According to culinary experts, yeast dough is the best.
The cook shared a recipe for very fluffy pies with stewed cabbage, which are made with yeast dough, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour - 850-900 g
- warm milk - 500 ml.
- salt - 1 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- dry yeast - 12 g.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- vegetable oil - 50 ml.
Method of preparation:
1. Pour yeast into warm milk, mix and add salt, sugar and eggs.
2. Sift flour into the same bowl, add oil, knead the dough, leave it under a towel for 2 hours.
3. Then form the pies, put the filling in and leave to rise for another half hour.
4. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
