Pita bread appetizer with a delicious filling of crab sticks, cheese and eggs: 10 minutes to prepare
If you want to quickly prepare a tasty and satisfying appetizer, use pita bread. You can use any ingredients for the filling: canned food, cheese, herbs, vegetables, mayonnaise.
Cook Daria shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious pita bread roll with crab sticks, melted cheese and eggs.
Ingredients:
- large sheet of Armenian pita bread - 1 pc.
- crab sticks - 200 g
- processed cheese - 2 pcs.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- dill - 1 bunch
- garlic - 2 cloves.
- cream cheese - 3 tbsp. l.
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- salt to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the cheese and sour cream. Finely chop the greens and add to the cottage cheese. Squeeze the garlic and salt and mix. Grate the processed cheeses on a fine grater, add to the sauce, and mix.
2. Boil the eggs and grate them on a fine grater. Grate the crab sticks on a fine grater.
3. Spread the laid out pita bread sheet with the sauce, sprinkle with boiled eggs, then crab sticks, and roll it up tightly.
4. Wrap the roll in cling film and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, preferably overnight. Cut into rings and serve.
