Pickled cucumbers without marinade: a recipe for a tasty appetizer for winter

Pickled cucumbers are the best winter treat. Cucumbers can be prepared with spices, mustard, ketchup, and also without making a marinade. Cooks advise simply pouring water, adding all the spices, and after you need to sterilize the jars well for about 10 minutes.

Culinarian Lilia Zvit shared on YouTube a recipe for delicious pickled cucumbers without marinade.

Ingredients:

  • cucumbers
  • dill florets - 1 pc.
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.
  • horseradish root - 2 cm
  • parsley root - 2 cm
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • allspice - 3 pcs.
  • coriander - a pinch
  • mustard - 0.5 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • vinegar 9% - 2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Soak the cucumbers for 2 hours in cold water to make them crispy. Cut off the tips of the cucumbers on both sides.

2. Put all the spices - dill, bay leaf, horseradish, parsley, garlic, pepper, coriander, mustard - on the bottom of the jar, lay the cucumbers tightly. Pour salt, sugar, vinegar on top and pour boiling water over the cucumbers and cover with a clean lid.

3- Place jars in a large container of water and sterilize for about 10 minutes, then canning.
