1. Pesto sauce goes perfectly with meat, veal and pasta. It is also a great sauce for tomato salads.
2. The classic sauce is made in a mortar, if not, you can use a blender.
3. Prepare the sauce in small portions and store it in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
- Basil – 50 g
- Walnuts – 50 g
- Olive oil – 60 ml
- Parmesan cheese – 40 g
- Salt – a pinch
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the basil, separate the leaves from the stems, and put them in a mortar or blender.
2. Chop the garlic and add to the basil.
3. Chop the walnuts and add to the blender.
4. Grind everything until smooth, season with salt, and add olive oil.
5. Grate the Parmesan on a fine grater and add to the sauce, mix well.
