Pate pancake envelopes for dinner: the recipe for the perfect dough for thin pancakes
Homemade pancakes can be the basis for appetizers and desserts. They can also be prepared with various fillings, ranging from cottage cheese to minced meat, liver pate, and fish.
Cook Iryna shared a recipe for delicious pancakes with pate on Instagram, which will be thin but won't torn.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 1-2 tsp of sugar
- 250 ml of milk
- 250 ml of water
- 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- 6 tbsp. of bitter flour (it may take a little more/less)
- 2 tbsp. of oil
- meat paste
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs a little with salt and sugar. Pour in the milk, add the flour and baking powder, and mix to avoid lumps. Pour in the water and oil and mix well again. Leave the dough to rest for 15-30 minutes.
2. Fry the pancakes in a greased frying pan with oil on both sides.
3. Cut the prepared pancakes in half. Spread each half of the pancake with the paste and roll it into a triangle.
4. Fry for a few more minutes until golden brown in a little oil.
Serve with sour cream and herbs!
