What oil to use for frying eggs: useful tips and a recipe from an expert
Eggs are a very healthy product that is ideal for preparing breakfast dishes. Firstly, they take no longer than 10 minutes to cook, and secondly, they give you a boost of energy for several hours. Experts say that when cooking eggs, the yolk should always be liquid as only in this way will it retain all its beneficial properties.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared useful tips for cooking eggs and a recipe for a delicious breakfast omelet on his website.
What oil to use
"If you want the eggs to be more fried and dense, then cook them in sunflower or olive oil. For a more airy and delicate structure, fry them in butter of the highest fat content, 82.5%," the chef advises.
Klopotenko added that in order for the eggs to be tender and still have a slight crust, it is best to combine oils and butter and fry in this mix. You can also use unrefined coconut oil, lard, or bacon before frying the eggs. Be sure to remove it, leaving the bacon grease.
"First, you need to heat the pan with oil of your choice and only then add the eggs," the chef clarified.
