Not just a salad: young cabbage steak with minced meat for dinner
Young cabbage can be used to make not only salads, but also first courses, snacks, and even steaks. If you want an original dish for dinner, all you need is cabbage and minced chicken with spices.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and easy-to-prepare steak made from young cabbage with minced meat.
Ingredients:
- young cabbage (2 plates)
- 2 tsp of oil
- 250-300 g of minced meat (mine is chicken fillet)
- 0.5 small onions
- 2 tbsp of sour cream
- 1 tbsp. of tomato paste
- salt, spices (paprika, dried garlic, pepper to taste)
- 1-2 tomatoes
- 100-150 g of cheese
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the young cabbage into round slices 1.5-2 cm thick, place in a baking dish, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
2. Mix the minced meat with the chopped onion, salt and spices. Add sour cream and tomato paste and mix well.
3. Put the minced meat on the cabbage and spread it evenly, bake for 30-35 minutes at 180°C.
4. Put the tomatoes on top, spread with sour cream, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for another 15-20 minutes at 180 C.
