Mussel pilaf for dinner: cooked in a pan
You can cook pilaf with any meat, as well as vegetables, mushrooms, and mussels. You can cook pilaf in the oven, in a sleeve, in a saucepan, or even in a frying pan.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious meatless pilaf with mussels on Instagram, which will be crumbly and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- 15-20 g of butter
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 400 g of mussels
- spices for pilaf and mussels
- salt
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 cups of warm water
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Fry onions and carrots in butter for 10 minutes and add thawed mussels, fry for 2-3 minutes and add spices.
2. Add salt, stir and add rice (pre-washed, preferably basmati rice). Cover with warm water, add garlic and cover.
3. Cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, then open the lid and mix well.
