More delicious and easier than fritters: zucchini waffles with hard cheese and herbs
Zucchini waffles are a very simple and delicious dish that can be an alternative to fritters. In order for them to be successful, the batter should not be liquid, and it is necessary to fry them necessarily on a very hot waffle iron.
- zucchini - 500 g
- hard cheese - 100 g
- flour - 5 tbsp.
- garlic - 1 clove.
- eggs - 1 pc.
- leavening agent - 1 tsp.
- dill, green onion - to taste
- salt, pepper - to taste
- frying oil
Method of preparation:
1. Grate zucchini on a medium grater, salt and leave for 10 minutes.
2. Squeeze zucchini from excess moisture, add egg, grated hard cheese, flour, baking powder, mix and add chopped herbs.
3. Preheat the waffle iron, place 1 tbsp of batter in each waffle iron, fry until golden.
Serve with sour cream!
