Liver pate that won't be bitter: how to prepare an appetizer correctly
Chicken liver pate is a very simple, budget-friendly, but tasty and easy-to-prepare appetizer. Garlic, mushrooms, vegetables, herbs, and butter will give the dish an original flavor.
Cook Polina shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious chicken liver pate that won't be bitter.
Ingredients:
- liver – 500 g
- milk – 100 ml
- onion – 1 pc.
- carrot – 1 pc.
- butter – 25 g
- cream – 200 ml
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the liver, cut off the excess films, and pour it with milk so that it is not bitter.
2. Cut the onion and carrot into large pieces and fry for 5-7 minutes.
3. Then add the liver and a piece of butter and mix.
4. Pour cream, pepper, and salt, and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
5. Transfer to a blender bowl and blend well until smooth.
Put the finished paste into a storage container and refrigerate.
