Light salad with seasonal vegetables: we tell you how to season the dish
Any salad is best prepared with seasonal vegetables, which will be the healthiest. It is best to dress vegetable salads with aromatic oils, natural yogurt, and pesto sauce.
Cook Yuliia shared a recipe for a delicious tomato salad with onions and feta cheese on Instagram, which takes 10 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- three types of tomatoes (crimson, yellow, black prince) – 750-800 g
- red onion – 1/2 pc.
- Feta cheese – 1/2 package
- pesto paste – 1 tsp.
- olive oil – 5-6 tbsp.
- spices: salt, pepper, Provencal herbs – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the tomatoes into arbitrary slices, put them on a plate, alternating colors, and season with a little salt and pepper.
2. Stir the pesto paste with the oil until smooth, then lightly pour the sauce over the tomatoes.
3. Thinly slice the onion into half rings, and put the disassembled strips on top of the tomatoes. It is better to take red onions, they are tender and not spicy.
4. Cut the feta into coarse pieces and place on the salad.
