Light cream cake for those on a diet: how to make a delicious dessert
If you like delicious, light desserts but are on a diet, choose recipes that do not contain flour or sugar, and the base can be made from fruit. You can replace flour with oatmeal, eggs with bananas, and sugar with honey.
Nutritionist Svitlana Fus shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious and light cake made from oatmeal with a delicate curd cream.
Ingredients:
- Oatmeal - 300 g
- Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Banana - 2 pcs.
- Oil - 4 tbsp. l
- Sugar - 30 g
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
- Oranges - 3 pcs. (2 for filling, 1 for decoration)
- Low-fat cottage cheese - 400 g
- Sour cream 10% - 160 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs with vanilla sugar until white foam. Mash the banana with a fork and add to the beaten eggs, pour in the oil.
2. Mix the dry ingredients and add to the batter.
3. Pour the batter into the mold and bake for 25 minutes at 180 C. Then remove from the oven, cool, cut into 2 cakes.
4. For the cream: beat the cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a blender.
5. Assemble the cake: spread the curd cream on 1 layer, cover with the second layer, cut and place the oranges on top. Spread the cream on the top and sides of the cake. Garnish with an orange.
