Instead of a pie: the most delicious cherry strudel with chocolate made from pita bread

If you want to make a delicious strudel for tea very quickly, use pita bread instead of dough, so you can have a wonderful treat in 20 minutes.
Cook Yuliia Benkendorf shared a recipe on Instagram for a pita bread and chocolate strudel that you can easily make in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- frozen cherries - 1 kg
- sugar - 100 g
- potato starch - 2 tsp
- cherry juice - 100 ml
- dark chocolate - 100 g
- pita bread - 1 sheet
- powdered sugar - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost the cherries, do not pour out the juice.
2. Put the cherries in a frying pan, add sugar, and juice, stir, and cook until the sugar melts and excess moisture evaporates.
3. In a separate container, combine the cherry juice and starch, pour the mixture to the cherries, and stir, cook until thick and let the filling cool.
4. Chop the chocolate.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
6. Assemble the strudel: spread the pita bread sheet evenly with the cherry filling, sprinkle with chocolate, and roll up the roll.
7. Place the finished strudel on a baking sheet with parchment paper and put in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C.
8. Sprinkle the strudel with powdered sugar immediately after the oven.
Serve the finished dish warm, as it will taste best. You can also add various spices to the filling, such as cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and star anise.
