Ingredients:
- freshly frozen mackerel - 2 pcs.
- water - 600 ml
- bay leaf - 3 pcs.
- black peppercorns - 10 pcs.
- salt - 3 tbsp. l
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- onions - 1-2 pcs.
- oil
- vinegar - 5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the insides of the mackerel and cut it.
2. Cut the onion into rings.
3. For the marinade, bring water to a boil and add salt, sugar, pepper, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil again.
4. Put the fish and onions in the marinade, add oil and vinegar, cover, and refrigerate for a day.
