Ingredients:
- potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
- butter - 80 g
- milk - 80 ml
- salt
- peppercorns / bay leaf
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 4-6 pieces.
2. Add the bay leaf and peppercorns to the water, bring to a boil and pour the potatoes into the hot water. After the potatoes are cooked, remove the bay leaf and season with salt.
3. Then mash the potatoes without adding butter. When the potatoes start to become mashed, add half the butter.
4. Heat the milk and the rest of the butter almost to a boil. Add partially the milk and melted butter to the potatoes and stir the potatoes again. At this stage, you can mash the potatoes with a mixer to make them fluffier.
