Cottage cheese casserole is an ideal breakfast dish because it is very quick and easy to prepare. You just need to choose high-quality cottage cheese, add raisins, and bake for about 40 minutes.
Cook Alina Fudi shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious cottage cheese casserole with raisins and semolina that always works.
Be sure to add semolina to the cottage cheese casserole, it will help the dish maintain its perfect shape.
- Cottage cheese – 600 g
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Sugar – 3 tbsp. l.
- Sour cream – 3 tbsp.
- Semolina – 3 tbsp.
- Lemon or orange zest, vanilla sugar – optional
- Raisins – 3 tbsp.
- Salt – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over the raisins and leave for 5-10 minutes, drain and dry with paper towels.
2. Separate the eggs into whites and yolks.
3. Add a pinch of salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream, semolina, and egg yolks to the cottage cheese. Blend everything in a blender for 5 minutes until smooth.
4. Add the raisins and mix well.
5. Add the zest to the same place.
6. Whisk the whites until fluffy and mix with the cheese mixture.
7. Grease the mold with butter and put the curd mass in.
8. Put in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes at 180°C.
