How to cook the most delicious mashed potatoes in a new way: secrets and lifehacks
Mashed potatoes are the simplest and tastiest dish that everyone can cook. To make the dish homogeneous, cooks advise adding milk, melted butter, garlic and black pepper for flavor, rather than sour cream.
The secret of delicious and successful mashed potatoes: you need to mix softened butter with milk and salt. Heat on the stove, but do not bring to boil. Then pour into the potatoes!
- Potatoes - 1 kg
- Garlic - 1-2 cloves.

- Butter - 3 tbsp.

1. Peel potatoes and cut into medium or large pieces, chop garlic. Transfer to a pot, pour water, salt and cook over moderate heat for about 10-15 minutes until soft.
2. Drain the water, return the potatoes to the heat for a few seconds to evaporate any remaining water.
3. Mix softened butter with milk and salt, heat well but do not bring to boil.
4. Mash the potatoes well, then carefully add butter and milk mixture in batches, followed by the cream cheese.
