How to cook pickled tomatoes correctly: a recipe for a tasty snack with mustard
To prepare pickled tomatoes you do not necessarily need a barrel, it can be done in jars. The important thing is to make a proper marinade, which will make the tomatoes ferment well.
- salt - 100 ml
- sugar - 100 ml
- mustard powder - 1 tbsp.
- currant and cherry leaves
Method of preparation:
1. At the bottom of a tray or jar (3 liters), place horseradish leaves, dill greens, currant and cherry leaves (or other greens you like), a few cloves of garlic.
2. Top with tomatoes and top again with herbs and garlic. Fill with cold water, cover and put in a cold place.
