How to bake mackerel deliciously: an original recipe

Mackerel is one of the most affordable and tasty fish species that is rich in essential vitamins and minerals and is also very easy to prepare. It can be baked, salted, as well as used for soups and added to salads.
Chef Olha Matvii shared a recipe for delicious baked mackerel with vegetables, spices and lemon on her YouTube channel (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 1 pc.
- dill - 100 g
- lemon - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1-2 pcs.
- mushrooms - 150 g
- onions - 2 pcs.
- potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
- salt, pepper - to taste
- garlic - 2 cloves
- butter - 20-30 g
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the insides of the fish.
2. Peel and grate carrots.
3. Dice onion and fry with the carrots in butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Wash and chop mushrooms. If they are small, you can leave them whole.
5. Peel potatoes and cut them into slices along with the lemon.
6. Put the fish in foil. Add the roast, mushrooms and potatoes.
7. Put the fish in a preheated oven and cook for 20-30 minutes at 180°C.
The dish is best served hot, sprinkled with lemon juice.
